Baby to Big Sister

Pinkie's room was ready to be updated. We bought the bunk beds and they dwarfed her room. It felt a tad claustrophobic. She also has an incredible assortment of toys that needed a home. We started by cleaning out her closet- 4 boxes of clothes to be donated. Then we weeded through her toys- baby, big girl, garbage. I think it was kind of a painful process for us all. I was losing a baby girl, she was losing toys and Dad had 2 emotional females to referee.

We bought this great shelving unit with lots of bins. Not the prettiest (wish it was this) but very functional for teaching a little lady to put things away in the perfect spot. I made the fabric memory board with left over fabric and a memory board I deconstructed from my sorority days. She loves it since she brings home so much art from school. She wants to display her projects for all to see! And now she has so much room to play. Lately it's somersaults- and what a big kick she and dad get out of asking a 9 month preggo to try a flip. It's getting old, guys.
