Self Portraits

Can you imagine the glee? A toddler finding a digital camera within arms reach, turning it on and seeing blinding lights come out of it. No adult is watching or saying no no no... Pinkie got the love of self portraits from her Tia Shanna. Tia Shanna demands that on every outing late at night (usually with drinks involved) that all peeps take a self portrait of themselves, it cannot be deleted for a second attempt. I hate them! Pinkie already loves them.

Life's little pleasures when you are a toddler seems pretty reasonable. Then a mommy ruins it by making you learn about good dental hygiene.

New haircut

My friend Alie who(m) I talk about all the time has inspired me yet again...

I have a new haircut. Short hair is a big leap for a true curly haired girl. You have dreams of afros and frizz and the early 90s Olympic gymnastics team.

But I needed a change as is so often the case in a busy mom's life.

So, I jumped and got an A-line bob stacked in the back (heheheheheeee).

sinus infection that spreads (?) to the eye...

it has spread to our house and we are miserable.

so we busted out a saved craft project

i bought a stool at the craft store, some bright red paint and a few sheets of Pinkie's favorite

characters (not the classy-est design around)

i mod-podged her afternoon nap away. there are some wrinkles and the paper definetly stretched. i obviously am not a pro mod-podger. then i put it in her bathroom, she stepped on it, it tipped over and she hit her head.

what a horrible mother i am? i let a sick kid fall???

then i looked at the directions and it says, 'not for actual use'

WHY SELL A STOOL THAT YOU CAN'T ACTUALLY USE???

who has 'pretend' stools around their house???
